Our Story
At the heart of our story is a belief: good things grow slowly, at the right altitude, with care and vision. Welcome to Devrana Apples—fresh from our orchard to your home.

Rooted in Legacy, Grown with Innovation
Nestled in the serene heights of Kandaun village, Uttarkashi, at an elevation of 7,000 feet, our orchard was established in 1980 by the visionary Dr. Diwan Singh Tomar. What began as a humble pursuit of horticultural excellence has now grown into a thriving 12-acre orchard renowned for cultivating premium apples, alongside pears, apricots, cherries, and walnuts.

A Legacy of Excellence
Dr. Tomar's passion for horticulture and his dedication to the region's agricultural progress earned him the prestigious “Udyan Pandit” award in 2004, a recognition of his remarkable contribution to horticultural development in Uttarakhand. His work has not only shaped our orchard but has also inspired generations of farmers to adopt progressive agricultural practices.

Growing for the Future
Today, our orchard continues to evolve with the times. In addition to our heritage apple trees, we’ve introduced 5,000 new apple saplings on M9 rootstock, a modern cultivation method imported from Italy. These high-density rootstocks ensure early fruiting, greater yield, and consistent quality, supported by precise irrigation and nutrition management systems.
We’ve also planted 500 walnut trees of the Chandler and CITH varieties, known for their excellent quality and high productivity.

Premium Varieties, Grown with Care
Our apples include some of the finest global cultivars:
Dark Baron Gala, Kingrot, Schinico Red Gala, Nerisimo Gala, and Devil Gala—each selected for its flavor, color, and market appeal.
Cultivated in the cool mountain air and enriched soil of the Himalayas, our fruits are nurtured with care, science, and sustainability.
